Completing a Group/Field Trip request form is not a confirmed reservation. A representative will contact you within 2 business days to confirm the date and time of your party.
Group/Field Trip must be booked and paid for at least 2 weeks in advance, (unless previous arrangements have been made with management) otherwise we cannot assure that you will get your preferred time and date. Reservations made within 2 week request time must be paid for when booked.
Parties cancelled within less than 30 days notice will be refunded less a $25 cancelation fee. Cancelations made 30 days or more prior to reserved date will receive a full refund. You also have the option to reschedule your party (subject to availability)
ARRIVAL, DEPARTURE, PARKING
There is a variety of street side parking in Chimney Rock Village. We have only 4 spaces in front of our Gem Mine Location. All street side parking is first come first serve. There is public parking less than 2 blocks away across from the entrance to Chimney Rock State Park. There is a $3.00 fee for the whole day.
GROUP REMINDERS
We suggest that patrons visiting our mine wear closed toe shoes while visiting our gem mine.
We also have a huge retail gift shop with a wide variety of jewelry, toys, rock specimens, fossils and more. Pricing begins at .50ยข.Please feel free to inform your participants, so that they can bring money if they would like to shop
PHOTO RELEASE
The Chimney Rock Gem Mine reserves the right to photograph/video visitors to our Gem Mine. These images could be posted lawfully on the Chimney Rock Gem Mine website and/or Chimney Rock Gem Mine social media accounts. If you prefer that you or your party not be photographed it is your responsibility to inform the Chimney Rock Gem Mine Staff upon arrival.
